Alive and Connected
in the Great Turning
Exploring our deepest responses to being alive at this time
on the planet, through The Work That Reconnects and Song
“The Great Turning is a name for the essential adventure of our time: the shift from the industrial growth society to a life-sustaining civilization.” ~ Eco-Philospher Joanna Macy
Drawing from Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects, we will engage in interactive group processes and song to help us move forward into a vibrant life-sustaining presence on the earth. Over the course of the evening, we will sing through the spiral of the Work, designed to help us touch into:
Gratitude, Honoring our pain for the world, Experiencing our radical
interconnectedness with new/ancient eyes, and Going forth in service to the world.
