Prison Doula Songs & Resources

National Prison Doula Trainees,

Thank you for singing together with such courage and chutzpah this past weekend! Here are the songs we sang together on Saturday night of the training, along with a small collection of songs we would have sung if there had been more time! You're most welcome to peruse other songs around the Song Library if you're curious or need new inspiration. Everything that's here is a drop in the bucket of what's available for great songs for this movement. I hope these resources can support those of you looking to bring the power of song into the vital work you're already doing, or into your life more generally! Feel free to reach out with questions, or if you'd like to bring me to your community to help seed this work in your existing projects. I am also planning a few beginner song leader trainings for late winter to empower budding leaders with a few simple tools for sharing music in this way. Thank you so much for all you're doing and learning!
